Brain nook clear out.

I've had some thoughts clanging around in my head the past few days that I just need to clear out...- Today in school (the school where I'm a teacher-ish person--the one where I'm a student-ish person starts day after tomorrow) I walked past a girl wearing a pink ruffly skirt, a lime green slashed sweater, and pink and green leg warmers. Am I officially old when I recognize fashions I hated the first time they came around?
- If not, am I officially old if my husband joins the dart league and I buy a crock pot?
- We are quite possibly the geekiest geeks that ever lived on Geek Street. The evidence:
- Andrew is, of course, a computer programmer. And brings ASP .NET magazines with him on vacations. Please don't ask me what ASP .NET means.
- I, of course, am currently in training to become a math teacher. MATH teacher people.
- We now have a wirelessly networked house, which we both agree is just dreamy.
- And we both have laptops. There are now twice as many (functioning!) computers in this house as there are humans.
- We bought an XBox solely so we could play Dance Dance Revolution.
- Because he was tired of riding his bike to work, Andrew bought. An electric scooter. Reeeee!
- I make him wear a helmet when he rides said scooter.
- And it's bright lemony yellow.
- And finally: Reeeeeeeeeeee!
The Prosecution rests. - Andrew is, of course, a computer programmer. And brings ASP .NET magazines with him on vacations. Please don't ask me what ASP .NET means.

When cooking's gone bad. So very very bad. Featuring the line, Its 10 p.m. Do you know where your wieners are? - What is the proper protocol when your high school student makes a Your Mom joke that actually cracks your shit up? That's subtle enough to pretend you didn't hear it, except that you accidentally started laughing? "Although I am clearly amused by the snaps you have provided, I must officially protest." Somehow, not quite right. Doesn't have that je ne sais quoi that I'm looking for.
I think that's it. Thank you for listening. I feel much better now.
